A Sketch Through Green Eyes. Linocut . 2019 With this piece I tried something very new to me. Instead of proceeding with the traditional black and white print, I decided to use color. No only did I try an out of the ordinary thing, but I painted the print, and printed on water soaked paper. This print took me several tries but the end result was well worth it. |

Natural Expression. Acrylic Paint. 2020. This is by far my favorite painting I have ever done. The reason for this is because I am intrigued by nature, and what do I think about when I think of nature? Mushrooms. Nature and mental thoughts inspire most of my artwork, that is why this mushroom has an expression of sadness. This piece represents the connection between a sad person's mind and the state of nature. |

A Forum of Contrasting Colors. Mixed Media. 2019 I love the idea of a triptych, there is something about them that catches my eye. With this piece I used a set of colors that don't particularly compliment each other. Along with the colors, I used a set of lines to tie them all together. If a viewer looks close enough they can see texture in the paint, that is also a big thing for me. While the straight lines make the painting look two dimensional, the texture in the paint brings out the three dimensional side. |
