A Sketch Through Green Eyes. Linocut . 2019

With this piece I tried something very new to me. Instead of proceeding with the traditional black and white print, I decided to use color. No only did I try an out of the ordinary thing, but I painted the print, and printed on water soaked paper. This print took me several tries but the end result was well worth it.
Natural Expression. Acrylic Paint. 2020.

This is by far my favorite painting I have ever done. The reason for this is because I am intrigued by nature, and what do I think about when I think of nature? Mushrooms. Nature and mental thoughts inspire most of my artwork, that is why this mushroom has an expression of sadness. This piece represents the connection between a sad person's mind and the state of nature.
A Forum of Contrasting Colors. Mixed Media. 2019

I love the idea of a triptych, there is something about them that catches my eye. With this piece I used a set of colors that don't particularly compliment each other. Along with the colors, I used a set of lines to tie them all together. If a viewer looks close enough they can see texture in the paint, that is also a big thing for me. While the straight lines make the painting look two dimensional, the texture in the paint brings out the three dimensional side.
Untitled. Mixed Media. 2019

With this painting I want to use colors that did not necessarily compliment each other for a vast difference. I wanted the difference in colors to catch my viewers eyes when they walk past either with that being the odd object in the center or the pink foil along the top.
Part I: Snobby. Porcelain Clay with Glaze. 2020

Part 2: Stumpy. Porcelain Clay with Glaze. 2020
Part 3: Skip. Porcelain Clay with Glaze. 2020
I have worked with clay many of times but I have never tried facial structures. This was an interesting experience for me since these are the first pieces I have ever sculpted. Not only did I challenge myself with a new task but I made it a goal of mine to make every face different.
